Catholic Extension Society’s Lumen Christi Award honors an individual or group working in an Extension diocese who demonstrates how the power of faith can transform lives and communities. Lumen Christi recipients are the hidden heroes in our midst. They bring light and hope to the forgotten corners of our country. In doing so, they inspire those around them to be the “Light of Christ” as well.
These finalists were honored in 2020 as shining examples of Catholic service and love who serve in the areas supported by our donors. See the 2021-2022 finalists.
Father Ron Foshage, M.S., of the Diocese of Beaumont received the 2020-2021 Lumen Christi Award. Read his story.
