In October 2019, Catholic Extension Society welcomed the second cohort of 40 religious sisters to participate in the U.S.-Latin American Sisters Exchange Program. The program, made possible through the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, involves Latin American congregations sending women religious to serve in mission dioceses throughout the United States for the next five years.
The group arrives on the heels of a very successful initial cohort of sisters, who completed the program in May and impacted thousands of communities across the United States before returning to their home countries.
