Blessing of the Easter Baskets- Diocese of Youngstown, Ohio
Each year, priests at Holy Family Parish in Poland, Ohio bless Easter food baskets on Holy Saturday, a traditional Eastern European custom. This year, the parish didn’t let COVID-19 stop them for practicing their tradition—they just needed to improvise a bit. This year, the blessing was held in the parking lot.
